The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) started running live today with its new National Switch (known as JoMoPay) to help fulfill the Bank’s switching, clearing and regulatory roles for mobile payments in Jordan.

 

After evaluating several international bidders, ProgressSoft was chosen by the Central Bank to be the provider for this major platform on which all future mobile payment services will rely and which will be used to settle transactions between the users.
