The Jordan Times has reported that experts are claiming the Kingdom has great potential to benefit from mobile payments systems, and that the likelihood of success is excellent due to the large proportion of the population who are unbanked.

Experts at the ‘Electronic and Mobile Payments in the Arab World’ Conference have also stressed how the systems could help reach a large segment of society.
