The Central Bank of Jordan will allow Jordanian banks and telcos to launch mobile wallets as part of its Jordan Mobile Payment or ‘JoMoPay’ project from March this year, according to recent reports in the Jordan Times.

The article stresses the need to for payment services providers to abide by the CBJ’s mobile payment regulations.
